Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was a member of the team and captain of the Fierce Five in 2012 and the team captain for the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In 2012, she was awarded gold at the team events and also the floor workouts. In the balance beam, she earned the bronze medal. In 2012, she became one of the few American athlete to earn the most number of medals during the Olympics. She took gold in the team event during the 2016 Olympics and also made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to have back-to-back golds. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals at the all-around event and floor exercise. In between the two Olympics she took off from competitive gymnastics for three years. Additionally, she was a member two world championship gold teams. She began her gymnastics training at the age of 2 and enjoys the floor workout. Aly contributes to the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in memory of her deceased grandmother. She plans to pursue the profession of a fashion designer. Her future goals include the expansion of her signature range of leotards. She is writing a book titled Fierce to be published at the end of this year.
